No we're not talking about the motown classic from Earth, Wind and Fire! Its a brief update of the month so far and relatively speaking it has been a September to sing about.

Both adult teams are now up and running in their respective league seasons. Amongst a mixed bag of results so far has been an 8-2 thrashing of Lydbrook for the 1st team and a positive away point for Toony's men at FISSC.

The junior teams are also back to training and will be kicking off their competitive fixtures shortly. Ryan Woskett's (Wozza) U8's side defeated Ducklington 3-2 in what was their 1st victory this season. Goals from Matthew Hitchings, Charlie Keyte and Joe Winder gave the junior Rangers all 3 points.

Ryan was very happy with his team's performance and is looking forward to seeing this team develop over the next year. We will be following the action from all the junior teams this season and you can stay updated via our facebook and twitter accounts. The links can be found on the home page of this site.

Also in relation to the junior teams is the good news that the club has paired up with Skillz Soccer Schools and will be running a Skillz School in October half term. The course will run at the ground from 9am - 3pm, Tues 28th - Fri 31st October. The 4 days will focus on all areas of football, aiming to improve technique whilst having some fun. Lots of fun games, competitions and daily world cup tournaments will keep the youngsters occupied over the holidays. The price is £10 per child per day and all profits will be kindly donated from Skillz to the club. Fantastic News!!

Places will be limited so please don't hesitate to give Sam a call on 07595545087 to book your place. You can also find Skillz on twitter via @SkillzSoccer

Other news in September has been the return of the club to the modern era. We now have new social media platforms, a new website and 1st team manager Gary Barnett has also managed to log on to run last man to place his bets every week!!! This is part of us making the club more interactive for both players, parents and the local community and as the internet is everybodys first choice for information we were missing out!! We are also upping our game when it comes to fundraising and sponsorship. The club is in desperate need of a Club House. Donations from Skillz is fantastic, we have a regular premier league predictor running and sponsorship packages are in creation. If you can help in any way or have any ideas please feel free to throw them at us. It's all very much appreciated.

Overall September has been good. A solid start on and off the field to what seems to be turning into a very important and succesful season. Be sure to tell your friends about the club and check back here regularly to stay updated with all developments from London Road.

Up the Rangers!!
