#JuniorRangers Round Up

The Christmas break gives us an opportunity to round up all the action so far from our juniors. Using the small gap in the fixtures, we can take a breather and look at where we are.

Our U16's have had a very productive first half of the season. Nicky Timms' side have asserted themselves well and sit in a comfortable 4th poisition in the league. The biggest positive has to be that they have only conceded 5 goals in their league campaign. The solid defence was evident in a well fought 0-0 draw away at runaway leaders Chadlington. Another huge high is the number of U16's who are regulalry training with the 1st team and also regulalry playing in the 2nds. Fantatstic work from Nick and the team, a positive 2015 ahead no doubt!!

Mark Boydell has looked after the U12's superbly. (Normally meaning he is late for 1st team duty) They currently lie unbeaten and should they win their game in hand, will return to the top of the table. Henry Smyth and Jordi Colome have fired them into a great position. Once again top work from the lads and we hope to see you lift the trophy next summer!!

Also unbeaten so far are the U11's. Chris has marshalled the guys to 2nd in the table and they still have 2 games in hand. Goals from Kian Burrows and Toby Stevens have powered them through the first half of the season. Kian has scored 10 goals in 8 games and Toby 8 in 6. Lets hope they can fire their way past Evesham Robins next year.

The U10's form has picked up of late and Lynsey's boys look well placed to challenge in 2015. Toby Waterton has lead the goal charge, Will Tallis and Ross Harding have also chipped in. All of the games have been close battles and it seems the 10's will need to keep their fighting spirit and togtherness throughout the second half of the season.

The U8's haven't been too busy so far this season, however, coach Ryan Woskett has been very impressed with what he has seen. Some of the best football from an U8's side, in his opinion, was displayed against Campden. They ran out 4-0 victors over local rivals and the performance could have warranted a bigger margin of victory. Joe Winder has been a regular name on the scoresheet. With more games in the new year, we will be hearing alot more from Ryan's team.

Christopher Giovannetti has been ever present in my updates from U7's coach, Dave Toon. His goals have seen the youngsters win many games this year. Harry Gilbert and Ollie Stevens have also helped out with the scoring duty. Toony, again like Ryan, has been very impressed with his sides development and wanted to pay each and every player compliments for their efforts so far this season.

Overall we have had a very positive start to this season and will look forward to the same in the new year. One special mention has to go a certain coach who manages to help out most of the Juniors week in week out. He also has maintained a place in the 1st team and aided the Skillz course that ran in October. The guys all love him and i'm sure have learnt lots of new tricks from the one............ the only................. BEANO!! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!
