Weekend Preview - Rangers to Bounce Back?
With September already behind us, we've seen both teams settle into their new respective leagues and both have already suffered an early cup exit. The first weekend in October see's both the firsts and reserves travel away. The first team take on Brimscombe and Thrupp, while Dave Toon's side have a difficult trip to Bampton. Both will be hoping for a more productive afternoon than last week.
Gary Barnett has hinted Martin Tomes will be fit again to join his squad. Along with James Carter and Adam Shipman, who both missed last week's cup tie. He did mention in an earlier press conference he was unsure about how to approach the game as, on the whole, he has been happy with how his team have started the season.
Brimscombe & Thrupp have started the season brightly and will offer a different challenge to that faced last week.

Off the field, we have continued to progress with the building of the club house. Funds are still required to fix the floodlights. We are looking for sponsorship, grants or even an idea for an event from all of you to help us through. Should you have anything that can help the club progress, please, feel free to give us a shout.
The Junior teams are all pretty much back in action as well now and we aim to catch up with all the squads as we build up to Christmas.
