Under 13 Team are Champions

Moreton Rangers Under 13 Team were crowned champions of their Evesham Ambassador League on the last day of the season with a 7 -1 win away at Bredon. Coach Lynsey Burdock was very proud of the Team “we won ten of our twelve games and everyone involved should be proud of their effort and team work which helped them win the league”. Thanks also to the team sponsors Tallis Amos Group for their continued support. Congratulations to everyone.

Senior Teams

Moreton Rangers First Team finished third in the Hellenic League Division 2 West with a record of only losing one league game all season. Several Drawn games which could have been wins cost them a tilt at the title but another fine season challenging for top spot and playing some excellent football. Credit goes to manager Nick Timms and his team for their hard work and thanks to this year’s team sponsors R&D Walker Butchers and The Black Bear Inn.

The reserve team were celebrating securing promotion from Witney and District League Division 2 as runners up. Needing a point on the last day of the season they beat league winners Bletchington 2-0 to end a very fine season for the team. Particular credit goes to striker Dave Toon who injured his knee early in the season but went on the assist manager Graham Jones from the touchline as they also lost only one league game all season.

Coaches Needed
