Securitas Support for Under 14 Team

Moreton Rangers Under 14 Team in the new Kit supplied by Securitas Fire and Safety

Moreton Rangers Under 14 Team have been supplied a new football kit by Securitas Fire and Safety Services based at the Fire Service College. This continues the clubs partnerships through sponsorship with local business and all involved would like to thank Securitas for its support.

On the Pitch the Under 14 Team has had a mixed season so far, having been promoted last season. Results have been improving and Coach Lynsey Burdock is pleased that the team have kept going in difficult games and with the support of new coach Dave Lawrence they hope to finish the season strongly.

Lynsey said “After the success of last season we have had a bit of a reality check in a very strong league but the team spirit has been great and we aim for a good 2019 in the new kit”

Senior Team

Moreton Rangers First Team finished 2018 sitting at the top of the Hellenic League Two South after a 2-1 win over Bourton Rovers in December. With games cancelled and a cup match again against Bourton which they lost 1-0 they were replaced at the top by Wantage Town. They have kept the pressure on the leaders with a 3-0 win over Headington and have reached the semi-finals of the Gloucestershire County Cup with a 3-1 win over Whitecroft.
